Three and four months rolled into one

Month three started you in daycare, and with that came sickness. You've had bronchialitis so bad and it seems to be lasting forever! You are so congested and throw up just about every time you eat. It is pitiful to see and breaks our hearts, but you are still such a happy baby! You are working on rolling over, but aren't quite there yet. You have started "talking" to us in response to noises we make and smiling and chuckling when you see people you recognize (mostly mommy, daddy, and sissy). You are so chill and really only cry when you're hungry or have a dirty diaper.

Highlights of this month included playing baby Jesus in both the drive through Christmas story and the indoor worship ceremony.
You did a great job in both, but let out a few screams at the end of the indoor worship service. It was adorable! We also took family pictures to capture you at this stage. We didn't get to take newborn pics right away since you were in the hospital for so long, so we were excited to capture you this month:

At your four month old check up you weighed in at almost 13 pounds and 24 inches. You were given the go ahead to try rice cereal and loved it the first time you tried it. Your cousins were excited to be visiting to help with your first feeding:

You are really really really close to rolling over and slept through the night for the first time on 12/13 just five days shy of four months old. You ate at 7:15, slept in our arms until 8:45 and then went in the crib until 5 am. We were really excited when you repeated this the next night too, but then you went back to waking up at least once a night a few days later. Oh well! Good thing you're adorable! Ha ha! We are enjoying every second with you (even the middle of the nigh feedings!) We are looking forward to all the festivities attached to your first Christmas, but that will be another blog post all together!
