5 years old!!! (way late on this catch up)
You turned five this year, and we can't believe it! You started Kindergarten on your birthday, so we opted to wait and have your party in September so you would know some of your new friends in your class and could invite them to your party. We had a great time at the splash pad with sweet friends. However, your teacher was moved to a new school and the friends at your party and you were all separated into new classes. Luckily, your new teacher is amazing and you are doing well!! You love Kindergarten and after school safari and come home a happy, sweaty mess each day! You want to look "handsome" by wearing dress pants and dress shirts every day (no matter how hot it is outside) and you won't listen to us that you look handsome no matter what! You are starting to read and it's fun watching you sound out words and discover the things around you. You continue to live in your own world with sounds, imaginative stories and games, etc. You also continue to amaze us ...
